After free time for lunch in Praia da Vitória, enjoy magnificent views from Serra do Facho before heading to the stunning Biscoitos Natural Pools, where black volcanic rock contrasts beautifully with the crystal-clear Atlantic waters.
To end the day, venture into the island's volcanic heart with a visit to the remarkable Algar do Carvão, one of the world's few visitable volcanic chimneys (subject to availability).
