Terms & Conditions 

Tours – Azores on Route reserves the right to alter the route and itinerary without prior notice due to circumstances beyond its control (such as traffic or events) and shall not be held responsible for any delays resulting from such changes. The guide will provide specific information regarding the time and meeting point for returning to the coach to continue the tour. The coach will depart at the agreed time. If the number of participants is fewer than seven, the organising agency reserves the right to use a minibus or private vehicle. 


Tickets – In case of ticket loss, no replacement will be issued. 


Bookings – Bookings are only guaranteed after payment. If payment is made by bank transfer, proof of payment must be submitted up to 48 hours before the date of service. Booking is mandatory, as is subsequent confirmation by the operator. 


Prices – The prices listed in this brochure include all applicable fees in accordance with the law of the Portuguese Republic and VAT at the current rate. Children up to 5 years of age travel free of charge (transport only, other expenses are the responsibility of the accompanying adult). Children aged 6 to 10 pay 50% of the adult ticket price. 


Cancellations / Refunds – Up to 24 hours before departure, no fees will apply. After this period, no refunds will be issued. Azores on Route may cancel or modify services without prior notice due to circumstances beyond the company’s control. Cancellations for these reasons do not entitle customers to a refund. 


Insurance – Provided in accordance with the law of the Portuguese Republic. 


Safety and Responsibility – Passengers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. While on board, customers must remain seated throughout the journey. It is not permitted to travel in a state of clearly poor hygiene or under the influence of medication, alcohol, or psychotropic substances that may cause serious discomfort to other passengers. Azores on Route reserves the right to deny boarding or continued participation to anyone displaying inappropriate behaviour and/or posing a risk to the safety of others. Customers are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the experience, as well as for carrying all necessary documents for free movement within the country. If a personal item is lost on board, the customer should notify Azores on Route as soon as possible. If the item is found, Azores on Route will contact the customer. The collection or shipment of the item from its location is entirely the customer’s responsibility. 


Customer Support – Azores on Route encourages feedback, both in person and digitally. Any complaints must be submitted in writing to the e-mail address customercare@azoresonroute.pt. Complaints regarding delays caused by circumstances beyond Azores on Route’s control will not be accepted.
